Thermocouples are designed for temperature measurement of glass melt and other corrosive liquid media.
TCS, TCR (TCB) thermocouple is located in multichannel ceramic tube, which is inside aluminium-oxide ceramic thermowell. Thermowell is protected with metal tip LTHERMOWELL long made of platinum-rhodium alloy. Tip is fixed to heat-resistant Fe-Cr-45%Ni pipe by means of coupling nut. L, LTHERMOWELL, L1, L2, L3 dimensions should be explicitly specified at the time of thermocouple order. Thermocouple design is patented.
Temperature in transition zone between platinum-rhodium tip and metal reinforcement should not exceed 1000°С under operating conditions. Recommended thermocouple immersion depth in glass melt should be 30¸50 mm less than LTHERMOWELL.
