Reference platinum-rhodium/platinum thermocouple; TPP type
Reference platinum-rhodium/platinum thermocouple is designed for temperature unit size transfer within the range 300 to 1200°С according to GOST 8.558-93.
Thermocouples are manufactured according to GOST 52314-2005
Thermocouple wire materials comply with requirements of the following normative documents:
– positive thermocouple wire electrode is made of 0.5 mm diameter wire, from alloy PlRd-10 (platinum + 10% rhodium) according to GOST 10821-07;
– negative thermocouple wire electrode is made of 0.5 mm diameter wire, from alloy PlT (platinum) according to GOST 10821-07;
Thermocouple wires are armoured with solid ceramic double-channel tube. One of the channels is marked with designation of used thermocouple wire. Tube material is aluminium-oxide ceramics, Al2O3 content is not less than 99%;
Tube is not less than 500 mm long, tube diameter - not more than 5 mm. Spare ceramic double-channel tube is included in supply.
Free thermocouple wire ends are insulated with flexible electric-insulation tubes according to GOST 9614-75, inner diameter 2-3 mm.
Thermocouple climatic version - UHL 4 according to GOST 15150-69.
Probability of thermocouple faultless operation is not less than 0.9 for 500h stay time in furnace under temperature 1100°С.
Initial thermocouple calibration is carried out in compliance with requirements of GOST R 8.611-2005.
Periodic thermocouple calibration is carried out according to GOST R 8.611-2005 in terms specified by the local standardisation, metrology and certification committee.
1-category, 2-category and 3-category TPP thermocouples are produced.
Initial calibration of the 1-category thermocouple is carried out in GNMC VNIIM named after D.I.Mendeleev (Saint-Petersburg) or ROSTEST-Moscow; Initial calibration of 2-category and 3-category thermocouples is carried out by manufacturing enterprise.
Thermocouple length L should be selected within the range: 1000, 1250, 1600 mm.
