Cutting ring fitting UNKJ 041
Fitting is designed for installation of CTx thermocouples in modifications 01.01, 01.02, 02.01, 01.05, 01.06, 01.09, and also TCS (TCB) 01.06 and PRTD (CRTD)102, 106, 108. It can resist higher pressure than movable fitting. The unit consists of swivel fitting and one or two rings with sharp front edge, which slices into pipe surface. Elastic structure consisting of two cutting rings allows to compensate temperature change during system start-up and shutdown. It allows to prevent leaks due to fast thermal expansion or contraction. Fitting material - steel AISI 316SS. Maximum allowable fitting temperature: +600°С.
Nominal (rated) pressure 6.3 MPa Maximum overpressure values depending on temperature are given in the table 1, page 10-6. Operating pressure for intermediate temperature values is determined by linear interpolation.
