Thermowells UNKJ 021 and UNKJ 023 are designed for sensor protection from highly aggressive media that do not destroy PTFE under relatively low temperature. Threaded fitting material - steel 12Cr18Hi10Т, protective tube - PTFE F4 or F4D. Under serious external loads it is recommended to use thermowell UNKJ 023 with PTFE tube with inner steel pipe armouring. PTFE external sheath thickness is not less than 1 mm.
Thermowells UNKJ 022 are designed for temperature sensors protection under operation in high-temperature gaseous medium. Distinctive feature of this modification is¾a ceramic protection tube. Threaded fitting material – steel 12Cr18Ni10Т. Maximum temperature at fitting - 600°С. Protection tube material - aluminium-oxide ceramics or silicon carbide, see table No. 1, "UNKJ thermowells" section. Thermowell can be used as an additional protection for platinum thermocouple in single protection tube 8-10 mm diameter. Protect from impacts and harsh heating or cooling during installation and operation! When thermowell is immersed in working medium, its heating rate should not exceed 150°С/min.
Thermowell UNKJ 021 and UNKJ 023 design is covered by utility model patents No. 61029 and No. 75466, and thermowell UNKJ 022 design is covered by utility model patent No. 61030.
